The planned addition of 3GW of photovoltaic power in a pair of procurement rounds is the first step in Algeria's programme to add 15GW of solar capacity by 2035.

The first 19 contracts have been awarded to eight successful contractors.  Further procurement rounds are scheduled meaning that businesses which establish themselves in the market promptly will have multiple opportunities to secure business.

Join African Energy chairman Jon Marks, managing director John Hamilton and Anzul director Oualid Khelifi for a breakdown of the context, the possibilities, the risks, and how to address them.
