World Bank considers funding for multi-faceted rehabilitation

Following Côte d’Ivoire’s rehabilitation with international financial institutions, the World Bank Group (WBG) is considering $50m of funding for an Urgent Electricity Rehabilitation Project. After a decade in the financing wilderness, Côte d’Ivoire in March won a three-year deal worth $565.7m under the International Monetary Fund’s Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility (PRGF).
