President Jakaya Kikwete has formally inaugurated the 100MW Ubungo gas-fired plant (AE 148/7). He used the occasion to call on the Ministry of Energy and Minerals to speed the process of converting the Independent Power Tanzania Limited (IPTL) plant from diesel to natural gas (AE 110/2).
