South Africa: Qatar Petroleum farms into 11B/12B

Total has agreed to sell Qatar Petroleum a 25% stake in Block 11B/12B, where drilling is planned at the end of the year to re-enter the Brulpadda-1AX well. Block 11B/12B is located in the Outeniqua Basin, around 175km off the southern coast, and covers an area of 19,000km2 in water depths ranging from 200 to 1,800 metres.
