The deadline for bids in the 70MW second round of Tunisia’s solar procurement programme and 130MW updated first round of its wind procurement programme has been extended from 15 August to 18 October. The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy announced on 30 May that 70MW of solar capacity would be tendered through the second round of its solar programme. A total of 60MW was allocated to projects up to 10MW in the tender, with 10MW allocated to projects up to 1MW.
