Local marine services company UTM Offshore Ltd on 11 May signed a pre-front end engineering design contract with Japan’s JGC Corporation to develop a 1.2m t/yr floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) project on OML 104, operated by Mobil Producing Nigeria (40%, operator) and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC, 60%).
