Issue 362 - 01 Feb 2018 | 1 minute read

The floating production, storage and offloading vessel for Total’s Egina development on OML 130 arrived at Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (Ladol) on 24 January. Described by Ladol as the biggest ship in West Africa and one of the world’s biggest, the FPSO is 330 metres long and 34 metres high, with capacity to hold 2.3m barrels of oil. A portion of the topsides fabrication and integration will be completed at the Samsung Heavy Industries-MCI production facility in Lagos, in line with Nigeria’s local content regulations.
