Mauritania: Chariot launches 3D survey

Fugro Geoteam has begun a 3D seismic survey in offshore Block C19 for Chariot Oil & Gas. Chariot, which acquired the block in April, plans to acquire 3,500km2 of seismic in water depths ranging from 30 to 2,000 metres. The programme, expected to take 90 days, fulfils Chariot’s initial three-year work commitment on the block.
