Kuwait funds Morocco’s Saharan transmission projects

Office National de l’Electricité (ONE) and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed a Dh660m ($81.2m) loan on 14 October to finance the strengthening of the state utility’s transmission network in the kingdom’s ‘southern provinces’ – largely situated in the disputed Western Sahara.
