Kenya: Hass Petroleum plans Africa’s tallest building

Hass Petroleum Group has signed a KSh20bn deal with a Chinese company for the construction of Africa’s tallest building, Business Daily reported. China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) will construct Hass Towers, a mixed-use development more than 300 metres tall in Nairobi’s Upper Hill area. The Carlton Centre in Johannesburg, at 223 metres, is currently the continent’s tallest building.
