Stena Drilling on 16 June announced a contract with FAR Gambia for the Stena Drillmax Ice to deliver the Bambo-1 well on Block A2, starting between 1 October and 30 November.
Australian minnow FAR acquired a 50% working interest and became operator in offshore Blocks A2 and A5 in 2017, which it said were on-trend with and adjacent to the Senegalese RSSD blocks.
