Angola: Local mid-size players dominate onshore oil round

Local companies dominated bid submissions in the onshore oil exploration round, which was delayed from 2020. State oil and gas agency Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis (National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels – ANPG) said on 12 July that 16 firms, 13 of them Angolan, had presented investment proposals for oil exploration in the Lower Congo and Kwanza basins.
