Rwanda: Serengeti Energy ups stake in Rwaza-Muko hydropower plant

Uganda-based Serengeti Energy has doubled its shareholding in the 2.6MW Rwaza-Muko run-of-river hydro power plant, making it the project’s largest equity holder. The acquisition aligns with Serengeti’s plan to develop and operate 300MW of small- to medium-sized HEP projects in its portfolio by 2030.
