Region: SolarCity co-founders join Zola Electric

The co-founders of United States-based residential and commercial solar company SolarCity – now part of Tesla Inc and called Tesla Energy – Lyndon Rive and Peter Rive have joined Zola Electric, the brand name of Off Grid Electric. Lyndon Rive will become Zola’s chairman while Peter Rive will be operational and technology advisor. The appointments come amidst a management reorganisation at Zola which will also see co-founder Bill Lenihan become sole chief executive. Zola’s other co-founder Xavier Helgesen becomes president and chief technical officer, with responsibility for products and digital platforms. Both Tesla and SolarCity are investors in Zola.
