Togo: Solar, thermal plans

Dubai-based IPP AMEA Power is to develop a 50MWp solar PV project in Blitta prefecture in central Togo under a concession agreement and 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with the Ministry of Energy and Compagnie Energie Electrique du Togo (CEET) on 26 November. AMEA Togo Solar will be responsible for the design, financing, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the country’s first utility-scale solar PV project. Ownership will be transferred to CEET at the end of the contract term.
