IFC joins wind project

Belgium’s Electrawinds has brought in the International Finance Corporation’s IFC InfraVentures fund as a partner in its 90MW wind project at Mpeketoni in Lamu County. The two parties have signed a co-operation agreement for the €180m ($239m) project, which Electrawinds has been developing since 2011.
