Ghana: Sankofa starts oil production

Eni and Vitol have announced the start of oil production from the Sankofa oil and gas project on the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) Block. Gas will follow in 2018.The medium density, low-sulphur crude will be produced through the John Agyekum Kufour floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), a 333-metre long, 58-metre wide structure moored 60km offshore with a storage capacity of 1.7m barrels.
