CIF: $1.1bn for clean technology

Africa's efforts to invest in clean energy have been given a boost with six countries to receive $1.1bn in new financing. Mozambique, Niger and Zambia will each receive up to $50m-70m under the World Bank's Climate Investment Fund (CIF) initiative.
