Six bidders have been prequalified to build a 25MW solar PV plant near Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. The tender is taking place as part of the International Finance Corporation-led Scaling Solar initiative and is the first to include batter storage. The bidders are Acciona Energia; Al Nowais Investments LLC and Aldwych Power Holdings Ltd; Globeleq Africa Holdings Ltd; GreenYellow SAS and Omnicane Ltd; Mulilo Group Holdings Ltd and Voltalia SA; and Ormat Technologies.
