Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) and Ethiopian Electric Utility have invited expressions of interest by 31 December 2018 from consultants to assist with the Addis Ababa Transmission and Distribution System Rehabilitation and Upgrading Project. Funding for the project is being sought from the African Development Fund. Work to be procured includes the negotiation of construction contracts; evaluation of offers submitted by bidders; preparation of evaluation reports; formulation and submission of project implementation schedules; approval of design documents; supervision of construction works; certification of payments; supervision of tests during manufacture and installation of equipment; training of client staff; preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports; administration of contracts; follow-up environmental and social impact mitigation and monitoring; preparation of a project completion report.
