Joel serves as a director of the Konexa development platform and its portfolio development assets. He shares his time between London and Abuja and joined Konexa as part of the founding management team.
Joel has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector in Africa. He serves as a director of Industry Capital’s energy portfolio companies, supporting the Africa portfolio. In this capacity, Joel also serves as director of Nigeria Solar Capital Partners, which has a 100MW AC solar development joint venture with Globeleq and ARM-Harith in Bauchi State, Nigeria.
Joel’s previous roles include working at Western Asset Management and managing income research team for Sub-Saharan Africa at Bloomberg. He holds a BA in History from University College London.
