InfraCo Africa, part of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), has committed $1.5m to the 30MWac Vungu solar PV project in Midlands province.
InfraCo said Vungu was set to become Zimbabwe’s first solar IPP with international project finance. It is also part of a national pilot programme to develop standardised documents for solar IPPs in the country.
