State utility Zesco has signed a $3.4bn power purchase agreement (PPA) with China’s Integrated Clean Energy Power Company (CiEG) covering up to 2.4GW of solar capacity, which will be developed over several phases. The agreement was signed at Zesco’s headquarters in early April.
