Total “not notified” on White Nile compensation

France’s Total says it has not been officially notified of a decision by the National Petroleum Commission (NPC) ordering the Block B consortium to compensate the former White Nile Ltd. Reuters quoted Government of South Sudan (Goss) Oil Minister John Luk as saying the commission had ordered that White Nile receive $11m in compensation for the exploration work it carried out on the block.
