South Africa plans renewable tariff pilot

Eskom is increasingly wise to the imperative for corporate clients to use renewable power to meet environmental, social and governance objectives. The state utility launched a renewable energy (RE) tariff pilot programme on 1 September which allows its customers to receive a blended electricity supply with up to 100% of energy from renewable sources.
