The World Bank Group’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (Miga) on 9 May announced guarantees worth $73m for the 80.5MW Noupoort, 137.74MW Khobab and 136.7MW Loeriesfontein II wind farms. All three projects were selected in the third round of the country’s renewable energy independent power producer procurement programme.
