Nigerian power minister Sale Mamman said he was “fully confident” the North Core Regional Power Project to install 880km of 330kV transmission lines to interconnect Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger and Benin will be completed in Q3 2023, following a joint ministerial steering committee meeting in June. Mamman confirmed that construction would start in August.
