Mozambique: Ncondezi on track for JDA signing

London Stock Exchange-listed Ncondezi Energy Ltd announced on 18 April that the company remains on track to sign a binding joint development agreement with China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) and General Electric by the end of July for its 300MW coal power project in Mozambique. Ncondezi is targeting the delivery of comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction and operations and maintenance proposals by 23 April and a review of the proposals and update of the integrated financial model by the end of May. Updated tariffs will be presented to Electricidade de Moçambique and the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy by the end of June.
