Issue 345 - 05 May 2017 | 1 minute read

A groundbreaking ceremony on 27 April marked the start of construction of the 400MW Bridge Power Project, which is being developed by the Early Power consortium of Endeavor Energy, Ghanaian energy trader Sage Petroleum and GE. Bridge Power is a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) import, storage and transportation infrastructure project that will be located in Tema. The power plant will be capable of running on LPG, natural gas or diesel. The project developers signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Electricity Corporation of Ghana in October.
