Egypt: Opic to finance Lekela wind scheme

The US Overseas Private Investment Corporation on 12 June approved $87m in financing for the 250MW Lekela Egypt Wind Power project in the Gulf of Suez. Opic’s support will mobilise more than $250m in additional capital to finance the project, the agency said.
