Egypt: EBRD funds for refinery upgrade

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is planning a sovereign loan of up to $250m to Egypt’s state-owned Alexandria Petroleum Company to finance a package of energy and water efficiency investments to modernise and upgrade the 100,000 b/d facility.
