Central Bank of Nigeria freezes meter providers’ accounts

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) filed a motion in the Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi state on 20 July asking for restrictions to be placed on the bank accounts of ten meter asset providers (MAPs) who it claimed had diverted funds provided under the Nigerian Mass Metering Programme (NMMP).
