BP: A role for resilient hydrocarbons

The UK supermajor was among the first to try and reimagine its oil and gas business. It began to transform in early 2020 with a plan to make renewable energy (RE) a driver of long-term growth and it has set a target of net zero emissions by 2050 – but there is still a substantial role for ‘resilient hydrocarbons’.
