Angola: Construction of Biópio and Baía Farta solar plants completed

Construction of the 189MW Biópio and the 96MW Baía Farta solar PV plants in Benguela province was completed on 20 July. The two plants have a combined installed capacity of 285MW, enough to supply power to 1.8m people. Construction began in March 2021.
