Published in November 2024, this map illustrates the state of green hydrogen projects across South Africa including project name, phase and planned commercial operation dates. Projects are marked to show those that are officially designated Strategic Integrated Projects (SIP).
In addition to green hydrogen projects, the map also shows other future fuel projects including ammonia, hydrogen-to-power and fuel cell production sites.
The base map shows administrative province boundaries and Eskom supply areas.
The map is available as a PDF file using eps graphics, meaning that there is no loss of resolution as the file is enlarged.
