Blocks that are open, under negotiation or having been issued a provisional award are shown alongside exploration and production acreage. Block operators and oil and gas fields are marked, alongside associated downstream infrastructure such as pipelines, tanker terminals and refineries.
A large inset shows in greater detail the region around and to the south of Port Gentil. A second smaller inset focuses on production areas and acreage that is under negotiation in the immediate offshore area adjoining the maritime border with Republic of Congo, including the Dussafu/Ruche exclusive exploitation area.
