Revised in February 2019, this map provides a detailed overview of the energy sector in Egypt's Nile delta and Western desert, with a focus on oil and gas infrastructure charting Exploration and Production licenced blocks, along with the gas and oil fields. Associated downstream infrastructure is included with oil refineries, tanker terminals, LNG liquefaction plants and the locations of gas processing plants. Gas, oil and product pipelines, current and planned, are also included. The map is available as a PDF file using eps graphics, meaning that there is no loss of resolution as the file is enlarged. Power generation data was drawn from our African Energy Live Data platform, which contains project level detail on more than 5,500 power plants and projects across Africa.
