Mozambique licensing round and upstream infrastructure – February 2022

Mozambique 6th oil and gas licensing round map
Issue 454
11 February 2022

Updated in February 2022, this map provides an overview of the hydrocarbons sector in Mozambique, with a focus on offshore acreage offered in the country's 6th licensing round.

Open and licensed acreage is shown across the country, with block operators and oil and gas fields marked, alongside associated downstream infrastructure such as pipelines, tanker terminals, refineries, gas processing plants and LNG facilities.

An inset provides a more detailed view of the Ruvuma Basin region that straddles the border with Tanzania.

The map is presented as a PDF file using eps graphics, meaning that there is no loss of resolution as the file is enlarged.
