Published June 2021, this map show conflict and security flash points in Ethiopia and Eritrea alongside the location of power generation and transmission infrastructure, planned oil and gas pipelines, tanker terminals, refineries and proposed LNG facilities.

The locations of power generation facilities that are operating, under construction or planned are shown by type – including thermal, hydroelectricity, solar, wind, geothermal and biomass/biogas.

Existing and planned transmissions is shown ranging from 230kV to 400kV/500KV.

Two insets provide a snapshot of conflict incidents in the Tigray region during 2020 and 2021.

The map is available as a PDF file using eps graphics, meaning that there is no loss of resolution as the file is enlarged.
