Climate finance charts

These charts provide a breakdown of climate financing provided for Africa.

The first page covers a series of charts examining Global Environment Fund (GEF) and Green Climate Fund (GCF) financing for Africa over the 2015-2022 period, including a pie chart showing GEF grants to different project types (transmission and distribution, hydroelectricity, wind, geothermal, biomass and other renewable infrastructure) and charts showing GCF and GEF grant funding by year, by country, and with cofinancing.

Page two includes charts showing global climate financing levels and targets, with pies providing breakdown of 2019/20 climate finance: by finance type; by sector; by geography; for energy systems, and for renewable energy.
