Saïed passes decrees to unblock solar concessions

President Kaïs Saïed is attempting to unblock the development of utility-scale renewable power projects by using decree powers he adopted in September to approve new solar concessions. If Saïed succeeds, the country can take a large and necessary step forward in its economic development. Lawyers for the developers – who include Scatec, Amea Power, Engie, Nareva and TBEA – will be scrutinising the texts carefully
