ENEA Consulting, along with Total, Acumen and Sustainable Energy for All, have opened applications for the Energy Access Booster 2020. Through this initiative, selected start-ups working with clean cooking or small-scale waste-to-energy can receive up to $50k, strategic consulting, operational support, and publicity for up to 14 months.
The initiative is targeted at early-stage entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan Africa or Asia who already operate at a pilot or small-scale and have not raised more than $2m in the past. Programme support will assist the selected businesses with sustainable business models, customer acquisition, pilot project development, creation of distribution models and plans for scale-up.
Applications will close on 13 December 2019. Successful candidates are expected to be selected by end-January 2020. Applications can be made at http://energyaccessbooster.com/.
