Kenya: Drilling to begin next month at Baringo-Silali

Geothermal Development Company (GDC) managing director and chief executive Johnson Nchoe announced on Twitter on 15 October that drilling at the Baringo-Silali geothermal block would begin in November. The drilling rig and equipment are being transported to the site.Hong Kong Offshore Oil Services Ltd signed a contract to carry out the drilling programme in April 2016 and exploration work began the following year.
