17 May 2018 | 1 minute read

German solar rental company Redavia announced on 16 May that it would supply a solar power installation to inspection, testing, verification and certification company SGS in Ghana. The 74kW plant will be located at SGS’ inspection and testing facility in Tema and is likely to begin operating in early-June. The contract will last for ten years.

“We are taking our corporate social responsibility very seriously, in Ghana and across our global organisation”, SGS managing director for Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone Mark Davidson said. “Redavia enables us to take a big step forward towards closing in our environmental goal of decreasing CO2 emissions, while at the same time allowing us to save on our electricity bills.”
