Civil engineering works for the 125MW Owendo gas-to-power (GTP) plant are set to start in June. Project backers have also agreed a schedule for the plant, including an expected commissioning date. State-owned developer Gabon Power Company is co-developing the plant with Finland’s Wärtsilä under a build-own-operate-transfer (Boot) IPP structure.
