Revised in November 2018, this map provides a detailed overview of the hydrocarbons sector in Republic of Congo. Open, licensed (exploration and exploitation) and acreage under negotiation is shown, with block operators and oil and gas fields marked.
Associated downstream infrastructure such as pipelines, tanker terminals, refineries and proposed LNG liquefaction facilities are also shown. The main map focuses on the Pointe Noire offshore and coastal onshore, with an inset map showing blocks further inland and the proposed route for a future products pipeline.
The map is available as a PDF file using eps graphics, meaning that there is no loss of resolution as the file is enlarged.
Access to the map is available as part of a full African Energy newsletter subscription or may bought separately for £80.
