Kenya’s IPP moratorium is fraying, but when projects start moving again what safeguards will the government put in place, and what will the priorities be?

A court challenge has put the government’s ITP model into question. What needs to happen for this element of sectoral reform to advance?

Following this summer’s protests, can President William Ruto marshal popular support behind policies of economic reform and greater private sector participation in the energy sector?
