Gas Exporting Countries Forum 5th Gas Summit

The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) is an international governmental organization which provides the framework for the exchange of experiences and information among Member Countries. GECF is a meeting of the main gas producers of the world and was established as an international governmental organization with the objective of increasing the level of coordination and strengthening the collaboration between the member countries. The original purpose of GECF was planning and managing natural gas resources in an autonomous way from petroleum. Based on that premise, the Member Countries agreed to hold a Heads of State Summit in one of the Member Countries to get updated on the global state of the Natural Gas market and to adopt joint strategies with the goal of maximizing the economic benefits of the natural gas industry.

2nd International Gas Seminar

The 2nd GECF International Seminar is scheduled to take place in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on the sidelines of the 5th GECF Gas Summit slated for November 2019. Just like the first edition, the 2nd GECF International seminar will be attended by GECF and non-GECF Ministers, Academics, oil and Gas industry experts, CEOs of IOCs, NOCs, Analysts and the Media. It is expected that this edition of the seminar will set the Organization on the part to consolidating its position as a reference institution on natural gas matters.
