Tanzania: Government resumes talks with project partners on LNG scheme

Tanzania is playing catch up with plans to develop its liquified natural gas (LNG) potential as negotiations start with Shell and Equinor on a host government agreement (HGA) on 9 November for the $30bn Lindi LNG scheme. The talks cover proposals for a two-train onshore project.
