South African nuclear power plans move forward

While not included in Eskom’s $10bn decarbonisation plan, the  state utility is continuing with plans to develop nuclear power plants. The National Nuclear Regulator said earlier this month that the utility had submitted an installation site licence for Thyspunt in the Eastern Cape.
